Jim Clark, 86, of Jackson, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, August 19, at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Born in 1929, in Los Angeles, CA to Les and Irene Clark, he lived his life in California, Puerto Rico, and ultimately settled in New Jersey.

Jim is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jeanne, sons Mark (Cindy) and Dana (Bobbi), and 6 grandchildren Heidi (John), Casey, Alaina, Greg (Caymee), Killian, and Devin, nieces Tiffany (Ben) and Shannon (Juan), and 3 great grandchildren.

Jim graduated Compton College, CA, with an Associate Degree. After serving in the Army, he received an honorable discharge and took a job with Sea Land Inc. where he worked until his retirement in 1992. His job allowed him to travel internationally including many cities in Europe and Asia. Jim was also a Mason Member and Past Master at the Sunnyside Lodge in Los Angeles, CA. Jim was a musician and an avid reader, and always kept his Kindle close by.
Jim was an active member of the Embury United Methodist Church in Little Silver, NJ.

Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank on Wednesday, August 24. A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 25, at 11:00 AM at Embury United Methodist Church, Little Silver. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Embury United Methodist Church, 49 Church Street, Little Silver, NJ 07739.
