John Jeffery Lloyd, 85, died on January 7th 2021 of Natural Causes.  Jeff was born in Philadelphia, PA to  Elleen (Grauer)and Dr. Paul Turner Lloyd, DO. He graduated from the Episcopal Academy and Bucknell University.

He is survived by his adoring wife Deborah Dickinson (Roach), his brother Peter T. Lloyd of Columbia , SC , His son John J Lloyd Jr. and wife Karen (Wilde) and his son Andrew Bankson Lloyd. He was the proud grandfather to 5 grandsons, John J Lloyd III, Matthew T. Lloyd, Ryan P Lloyd, Austin T. Lloyd and Andrew B Lloyd Jr.

After graduation from Bucknell he served honorably in the United States Army stationed at Ft. Knox, Kentucky. While he was asked to try out for the Philadelphia Athletics Baseball team, he chose to begin his professional career instead with General Mills, where he was Nationally recognized as a top salesman. Driven by his entrepreneurial spirt he resigned from General Mills and began his own Institutional Food brokerage Co., Lloyd McGarvey Inc which thrived for over 30 years.

Jeff loved his family above all else, while enjoying his time on the golf course and Tennis courts, he chose to spend the majority of his free time coaching his sons in the Devon Strafford Little League. His passion for his family and those he loved will live on forever.

A small private service will be held at Washington Memorial Chapel in Valley Forge, PA where he will be buried in the churchyard with his parents. The service will be livestreamed and will be available at www.facebook.com/wmchapel/live at 10:00am Tuesday 1/12  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Washington Memorial chapel. Po Box 98 Valley Forge, PA 19481. Thompson Memorial Home of Red Bank, NJ was entrusted with the arrangements.
