Obituaries

William E. Ether, Jr., 72 of Oakhurst, passed away on February 29, 2016. William was a 1961 graduate of RFH High School. He worked at the Atrium at Navesink Harbor in Red Bank. William was an avid reader and enjoyed sailing and kite flying.

William is predeceased by his wife Anna Marie, his long-time companion Angie Giambra and his sister Dorothy McAndrew. He is survived by his sisters Louise Whitfield of Rumson and Betty Obermann of Newport, VT; his nephews and nieces Ron, Jim & Sarah Whitfield, Kate Fessler and Mike Karbo; two great nieces and one great nephew; and two great-great nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, March 6th from 4 to 5 pm with a memorial service at 5 p.m. at the Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial donation to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241.
