It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lawrence D. Kerrigan, Jr. of Belford, N.J. on July 4, 2016. He was the son of Lawrence D. Kerrigan, Sr. and the late Elizabeth Ann Kerrigan. Larry was a graduate of Red Bank Catholic High School and the University of Notre Dame. He received his master’s degree in business administration from Monmouth University. Larry was involved with the Boy Scouts of America and he achieved the ranking of Eagle Scout. He successfully owned and operated his own business for over 20 years. He was loved and respected by all who knew him.
Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Ann Kerrigan. He is survived by the love of his life and partner for many years, Lauren Nicosia; his father, Lawrence D. Kerrigan; his sisters, Linda (Jay) DeGroot and Pam (Jeff) Weber; his nieces and nephews, Matt Huff, Kristen Huff, Brian (Kana) Huff, Lindsay (Greg) Gotwald, Michelle (Drew) Loftus, and Christopher Weber; and his great nieces and nephews, Samantha and Ann Gotwald, and Fletcher and Oliver Huff. In addition, Larry is survived by many lifelong friends in both his business and personal life and by his very special canine companion, “Bear”.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Saint James Roman Catholic Church on Saturday July 9, 2016 at 11: 00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
