Red Bank, NJ - Judith Hathaway, age 75, passed away peacefully on December 1st at her residence. She was born in Tuxedo, NY, and settled in the Red Bank area in 1993.

Judy was a graduate of Katherine Gibbs Liberal Arts School, and enjoyed a 25-year career at Hewlett Packard where she managed several branch sales offices. She was the founder and president of Ambassador Events Travel LLC.

The joy of Judy’s life was her beloved husband of 35 years, Howard L. Hathaway III. Together, they traveled the world, hosted parties, and spent countless hours with friends at Monmouth Boat Club. She was also a devoted and loving mother to her son, Timothy Hathaway.

Judy also invested much of her time in local organizations. She was the past president of both the United Way of Central Jersey and Business Network International (Red Bank chapter). She was also the first Executive Director of the Jersey Shore Jazz & Blues Foundation, and a board member for Cabaret for Life. She was passionate about family, international travel, hosting dinner parties, and the Christmas season.

She was predeceased by her parents, Leonard and Dorothy Schulz. She is survived by her husband, Howard L. Hathaway III; her son Tim Hathaway and his wife, Elizabeth; and her sisters Lynn Milo and Catherine Ackerson.

A memorial celebration will be held in her honor at a later date. Those who wish are respectfully encouraged to make a donation in her name to Lunch Break in Red Bank. Thompson Memorial Home Red Bank, NJ, has been entrusted with her arrangements.
