Maureen O’Neill Bryce left us on November 2, 2022. She was born in Glen Ridge, NJ and raised in Nutley, NJ as well as Bloomfield, NJ. She then resided in Ocean Twp. with Charles, her husband of 57 years. Maureen was a graduate of Mt. Saint Dominic Academy and Seton Hall University Nursing School. She started her nursing career at Mountainside Hospital where she was born, and continued as a pediatric nurse and Nursing Supervisor at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, NJ until 1984.
She then began a successful career as a Medical Case Manager after which she started her own Medical Case Management business, retiring at the age of 74. Maureen’s passions were family, friends, travel, and entertaining.
Maureen is pre-deceased by her parents Austin and Ann O’Neill, and her brother Raymond O’Neill. Maureen is survived by her husband Charles, her children Michael Bryce and his wife Tracy, Tracy Lorme and her husband Hal, Wendy Bryce and her partner Scott, and her six grandchildren Jonathan, Ryan, Nicholas, Meghan, Andrew, and Matthew.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 8th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday November 9th at 10am, St. James RC Church, 94 Broad Street, Red Bank, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to one of Maureen’s favorite charities: Doctor’s Without Borders, Tunnels to Towers, American Cancer Society, or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
