On December 14th, 2022, Joyce Jablonski passed away at the age of 85. She was born and raised in Jersey City NJ. She met and married her high school sweetheart George Jablonski and together they had 4 children and raised them in Matawan NJ.
Both Joyce and George lived most of their married life in a neighborhood called Cheesequake Woods. This neighborhood provided precious memories, lifelong friends and a wonderful life for her family.
Joyce worked within the local school system as a teacher’s aide. She enjoyed making a difference with her students and built friendships with her colleagues here as well. Joyce was a strong and loving woman, a devoted wife and a nurturing mother. She believed family was her most precious gift, Joyce had a sense of style and elegance and was a brilliant conversationalist and used these attributes to bring out the best in her family and friends.
Joyce is survived by 4 children, Tom Jablonski and his wife Kathy, Jeff Jablonski and his wife Monica, George Jablonski and his wife Carolyn, and Cathy Vogel and her husband Jeff. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jacquelyn, Alyson, Kathryn, Tommy, Jordyn, Zachary, Courtney, George, Grace, Matt, Eric, Lauren, as well as her great grandchildren Harper and Carson.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 4-7pm at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 10 am at St. Clements Roman Catholic Church, 172 Freneau Ave, Matawan, NJ 07747.
