Astrid Pochop, Age 45 of Middletown, passed away on March 21, 2017. Astrid was born in South Amboy to Gerhard and Dorothea (Brummer) Pochop.
She earned an Economics Degree from The Munich School of Management in Munich Germany. She was Chief of Staff in Equity Trading at The Bank of America in New York City. She was a communicant of St. James RC Church in Red Bank.
Astrid is predeceased by her father Gerhard. She is survived by her husband Rob MacFawn, their children Andrew and Madeleine, her mother Dorothea of Old Bridge, NJ, and her brother Jurgen and his wife Elke of Kohlberg, Germany.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 27th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 28th at 10 a.m. at St. James RC Church, 94 Broad Street, Red Bank. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Jamesburg.
