Christopher G. Beronio

Christopher G. Beronio, also known as Bam Bam, passed away January 3rd, 2024 at the age of 54 in Red Bank, NJ. He was born in Belleville, NJ. Christopher, a devoted husband, is survived by his wife Sue and their many fur kidz. He is also survived by his mother Diana Beronio Macaluso and his sister Joan Beronio Muanez and her husband Juan. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Beronio. Christopher also leaves behind his Nephew Sean and Nieces Hanna, Kaitlyn, Isabella and his God Daughter, Anna.
 
Christopher graduated from Red Bank Regional High School and then joined the Navy where he served as Petty Officer 3rd Class during Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield. He then went to Chubb Institute where he earned his Technical Support Experience Diploma.
 
After his military service, Christopher joined the Little Silver Fire Department. In 2007 he was elected Chief and in 2017 became a life member. In late 2000’s he joined Shrewsbury Hose Company, where he continued to enjoy his passion as a volunteer firefighter. Chris loved participating in field day competitions, bowling and softball teams.
 
Christopher loved spending time with his friends with a good cigar and jack and ginger in hand. He was always there for anyone in need. He was a very giving man with a genuine heart of gold. Chris was a very loving husband to his wife Sue and loved her with his entire heart. The two of them would spend free time volunteering with various animal rescue groups helping in any way.
 
A visitation will be held on Saturday January 6 from 12-3 at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad Street, Red Bank, NJ. A fireman service to follow at 3.
 
Christopher will be deeply missed by his loved ones, friends and colleagues. His memory will be cherished for his unwavering dedication to his family, service to his country and his community. May he rest in peace.
