Margaret was born August 21, 1946 in Newark, NJ to the late Fred and Eleanor Hagel. She spent her early years in Cranford, NJ. She attended St. Mary’s High School in Elizabeth, NJ and went on to study Elementary Education at Kean University.

She is survived by her incredibly supportive and loving husband, John Schlogl, her son Jeffrey (Lauren) Schlogl, and her three grandsons, Thomas, Brady and Dylan Schlogl who she affectionately referred to as her “Riason D’etre” (Her reason for being).
