Patricia Conlon Otersen, age 86, of Brick, NJ passed away peacefully at home on August 2, 2024 with family by her side. Patricia was born on May 17, 1938 in Jersey City, NJ. Patricia graduated from Snyder High School, Jersey City, where she started her family. Patricia and family moved to Middletown in 1964.
In 1976, she began a career in banking, retiring in 2014 as a Branch Manager and V.P. at Bank of America. She spent many years as a dedicated member of the Chamber of Commerce and The Rotary Club in Aberdeen, NJ.
After Pat retired, she moved to Old Tappan, NJ where she enjoyed time with old and new friends. In 2020 she moved to Brick to be closer to her daughters.
Along with her parents, James Conlon and Katherine (Lau) Conlon, Patricia was predeceased by her son Michael Otersen, grandson Erik Otersen, brother Donald Conlon, brother Robert Conlon and beloved friend Angela Reese.
She is survived by her daughter and daughter-in-law Jill Otersen and Alexis Korsak, her daughter Kimberly Hendricks, her grandson Reid Otersen and his wife Kaylee, her granddaughter Aidan Hendricks, and her great-grandson Oliver.
Patricia lived a full and vibrant life from beginning to end, and she touched the lives of many with laughter and love along the way.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 5th from 4-7 pm at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 6th at 10 am at St. James Church, 94 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701. Interment will be private.
