Nancy Venerose, a long-time resident of Aberdeen, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on August 9, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on November 17, 1944, in New York City to Joseph and Anna Tosto, Nancy's vibrant personality and good humor touched everyone she met.
A proud graduate of Cathedral High School in 1962, Nancy's life was marked by a series of adventures and accomplishments. She embraced a range of professions, including a memorable stint as a NYC taxi driver, before making her career at Forest Electric, from which she retired with a wealth of fond memories and friends.
Nancy's retirement was filled with love and joy as she balanced travels with dear friends, and spending quality time with her family. Whether at home - where she was always ready to lend a hand or share a meal - or on one of her many vacations, she filled every moment with joy and formed lasting friendships wherever she went.
Nancy leaves behind her beloved younger brother, her devoted son Anthony, and three adoring grandsons.
Nancy's exceptional life and enduring spirit will be remembered by all who knew and loved her. Her warmth and generosity will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 13th from 2-6 pm with a prayer service at 5:30 pm at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701.
