Leslie Ann Parent (nee Hornsby) of Red Bank, New Jersey passed away on December 24, 2024. Born on November 5, 1942, in New York, she resided in Rumson for over 40 years with her husband Arthur Francis Parent and her children. She attended Ithaca College and graduated from C.W. Post College in Brookville, NY.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Her family meant everything to her. She enjoyed playing tennis and golf. She was a member of Rumson Country Club and a former member of The Westside Tennis Club in Forest Hills, NY.
Leslie is survived by her daughter Alison Parent Maloney (Thomas) Rumson, N.J. and her son Arthur F. Parent; grandchildren Wade and Tess Maloney; brother Edward Wade Hornsby and sister-in-law Mary Hornsby; Cousin Marion O’Shea; brother and sister-in-law James and Grace Parent; nephews Peter Parent, Michael Parent, and Todd Parent; nieces Samantha Walravens and Stephanie Nesmith. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Francis Parent and her parents Leslie Hugh and Emily Ricardi Hornsby.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10:30 am at Holy Cross Church, 30 Ward Avenue, Rumson, NJ 07760. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Thompson Memorial Home of Red Bank, NJ.
