Sally A. Strehl, age 84, of Shrewsbury, NJ passed away peacefully on December 21, 2024. Sally grew up in Bergen County, NJ, attended Douglass College and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She worked as a social worker in the Monmouth County area.
Prior to her residence in Shrewsbury, Sally lived in Holmdel for many years and then in Little Silver with her husband Ron. Sally was a longtime member of Tower Hill Presbyterian Church of Red Bank where she was a deacon and volunteer wedding coordinator.
Sally is survived by her sister Jean Lammers, brother-in law Larry, nephews, Brett Lammers, Matthew Lammers, John Strehl, Christopher Strehl. She was predeceased by her husband Ron Strehl.
Interment will be held on Friday, January 17th at 10:30 am at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. A Memorial Service will be held at noon at Tower Hill Presbyterian Church, 255 Harding Rd, Red Bank, NJ 07701. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Tower Hill Church, 255 Harding Road, Red Bank, NJ 07701 / towerhillchurch.org. Thompson Memorial Home of Red Bank, NJ has been entrusted with the arrangements.
