Helen Magdalena Carniglia

Helen Magdalena Carniglia, nee Udvari, passed away on January 26,2025.  She was 93 years old.

Born in Guelph, Ontario, Canada Helen attended nursing school after graduating from St. Mary's High School.  In 1958, she emigrated to the United States to work as a flight attendant for American Airlines. There she met her husband, Victor T. Carniglia.

Helen was a devoted wife and mother who cared deeply about family.  She embraced life with curiosity and enthusiasm, always eager to explore new places and ideas.  An avid reader and life-long learner, she found joy in expanding her knowledge and experiencing the world through travel.

Beyond her professional and personal pursuits, Helen was committed to serving her community.  She volunteered at the Food Pantry of Flemington and the Hunterdon Medical Center, offering kindness and support to those in need.  Her empathy and generosity touched many lives.

Helen is survived by her daughters, Patricia E. Carniglia and Carolyn C. Walker and her granddaughter, Eva N. Walker.  She was predeceased by her husband, Victor T. Carniglia.

Helen's youthful spirit never waned.  She approached life with energy and an open heart.  Her memory will be cherished by those who knew and loved her.  May her legacy of kindness continue to inspire others.

Arrangements are private and have been entrusted to Thompson Memorial Home of Red Bank, NJ.
