Dottie’s most fond memories would involve animals, the mountains and John Denver playing on the radio.  She found her greatest love when she became a grandmother to her four wonderful grandchildren.  Later in life, she was an active member of the Middletown Senior Center and enjoyed her lunches with friends.

She was pre-deceased by her parents and her sister, Margaret Conniff.  Dottie is survived by her loving children Tara Forde, Jeanmarie Forde, Dennis Forde and his husband Bryan Fuerst, her brother Raymond Scally and his wife Carol, her brother-in-law Thomas Conniff and her four cherished grandchildren, Gianna, AJ, Noah and Andrew.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 3:00-6:00 pm at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad Street, Red Bank, New Jersey 07701.  There will be a prayer service from 5:30-6:00pm at the funeral home and all are welcomed to be a part of the service. Following, the family would love to have everyone join in a celebration of Dottie’s life from 6:30-8:30pm at Bryan and Dennis home located at 201 Sunnyside Road, Lincroft, New Jersey.

Dottie’s wishes were to be cremated, and her ashes buried with her parents.  The family will announce the details of those plans in the coming months.

All who love Dorothy believe that “the country road took her home, to a place where she belongs….
