Araxy “Roxy” Zohrabian entered into rest on December 2, 2025, at the age of 83.
She was the beloved wife of Vartan Zohrabian and devoted mother of Vivian and son-in-law Roman. She is also survived by her siblings Aram, Anush, Anjel, and Arousiak Hampartsumian, and many nieces and nephews.
A long-time Monmouth County resident, Araxy was a respected professional hair stylist. Known as “Roxy,” she owned and operated Shear Precision Hair Salon in Keyport for over 15 years and later worked at Great Clips in Shrewsbury.
Araxy will be remembered for her warmth, strong work ethic, and love for family, cooking, and creative pursuits.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 9-10 a.m. at St. Stepanos Armenian Apostolic Church, 1184 Ocean Ave N, Elberon, NJ 07740. A funeral service will begin at 10 am. Burial will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Thompson Memorial Home of Red Bank, NJ has been entrusted with the arrangements.
