Obituaries

Beverly Blanchet Reiss, 90, of Little Silver, passed away at home on December 19, 2025.

A devoted mother, Beverly was predeceased by her eldest son Theodore Kransz Reiss (d. 1972) and eldest daughter Ruth Margaret Reiss (d. 1997).  She is survived by her daughter Heidi M. Reiss, son Carl A. (Anne) Reiss and grandsons Carl and Jack Reiss.

Beverly was the second of five daughters of Lucille and G. Arthur Blanchet.  She was predeceased by her sister, Margaret Ann Blanchet, and is survived by her sisters, Lucille B. Conklin, Sister Rosamond Blanchet, RSHM and Carole B. (Michael) Brown.

Beverly graduated from Marymount College, Tarrytown, NY, and was a longstanding communicant of The Church of the Nativity, Fair Haven.

BB, which she so aptly adopted as her grandmother name, was highly spirited and most loving.  She will be missed by many who turned to her for laughter and friendship during good times and understanding and support when challenged.
