Jonathan Charles Burden

Jonathan Charles Burden

It is with a broken heart that we announce the sudden passing of Jonathan Charles Burden on December 1, 2025, at his home in Red Bank, New Jersey.

Jonathan was born on January 7, 1969, in Red Bank, NJ, to Mary Lou and Charles Burden. He graduated from Red Bank Catholic High School in 1987 and earned his chiropractic degree from Life College in Marietta, Georgia, in 1997. Jonathan was previously employed by North East Sport and Spine and most recently worked as a first responder.

He was married to the love of his life Jill, for 23 years, and together they raised two children, Anthony David and Molly Elizabeth. His greatest pride was his family, and the love he had for Jill and his children surpassed everything.

Jonathan was an avid gardener and cook, and he truly had the gift of fixing anything. Most of all, he loved hiking with his beloved dogs and felt most at home in the solace of nature. Jonathan was thoughtful and kind, possessing an intelligence and quick wit that was second to none.

Jonathan was predeceased by his father, Charles Burden, mother-in-law Sylvia Noyes and father-in-law David Noyes. He is survived by his wife, Jill; his children, Anthony and Molly; his mother, Mary Lou Burden; his sisters and best friends, Melissa (Houck) and Amanda (Weber); his sister-in-law, Andrea Noyes & his brother-in-law’s John (Weber) Stephen (Houck) and Kevin (Lenzo); his nephews Charlie, Sean, and Owen; his nieces Ashley and Vitali; and a large group of cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 7th 2026 from 3-6 pm, with a prayer service at 5:30 pm at the Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to "The Source", a school based youth service program at Red Bank Regional High School. Donations can be given through their website at https://www.thesourcerbrhs.org.
