Nancy Gulick

Nancy Stanley Gulick, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at her residence in Little Silver, New Jersey. She was 80 years old. Born on December 14, 1945 in Long Branch, New Jersey.  Nancy was the cherished daughter of the late Edwin R. Stanley and Ella Toner.

Nancy grew up in Middletown Village, where she attended Red Bank Catholic school. She married Henry G. Gulick, After marriage, she moved into the Gulick Family home (The Hill) on Holland Road where together they created a warm and loving home and later split her time happily between Little Silver, New Jersey, and Weston, Vermont.

Above all, Nancy was an exceptional and devoted wife and mother whose greatest joy came from her family. She is survived by her loving husband of many years, Hank; her oldest son, Greg and his wife, Elizabeth and their children, Will (fiancée Amanda) and Grace; and her second son, Peter, along with his fiancée, Caroline LaViolette, and her two boys, Gabriel and Daniel.

Nancy brought energy and enthusiasm to everything she did. She was actively involved with the Junior League and the Monmouth County Historical Society. She worked as a mountain guide at Stratton Mountain Ski Resort in Vermont, sharing her love of the outdoors. An avid golfer at Rumson Country Club and tennis player at Seabright Lawn Tennis Club, she was also a longtime member of both Rumson Country Club and Seabright Beach Club. Her warmth, grace, and zest for life made her a cherished presence in every room she entered.

Nancy’s loving spirit, her infectious smile, and the countless happy memories she created will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed. 

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026 from 10-11 am with Mass to begin at 11 am at The Church of the Nativity, 180 Ridge Road, Fair Haven, New Jersey. A warm reception will follow at Rumson Country Club. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nancy’s memory to The Friends of the Monmouth County Parks. These donations will be used at Historic Portland Place, which was dear to Nancy’s heart. Thompson Memorial Home of Red Bank, NJ has been entrusted with the arrangements.
