Judith Walters, 83, of Tinton Falls, NJ, passed away on May 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
She lived a full and joyful life, defined by her vibrant personality and deep connection to those around her. She was truly the heart of her family - someone who brought people together, made everyone around her feel special, and never missed a chance to laugh, celebrate, or enjoy the moment.
She had a gift for connecting with people and made friends everywhere she went, whether chatting with someone in line at her favorite bakery or while shopping at the mall. Wherever she was, she brought energy, laughter, and a sense of fun.
She was equally defined by her strength. She was a force of nature who met every challenge with courage.
She loved summers at Silver Beach and Ship Ahoy Beach Club in Sea Bright, listening to Elvis, and a good Italian restaurant. More than anything, she loved her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her greatest joy came from time spent with the people she loved most.
She is survived by her son, Brett, and his wife, Vikki, and their daughters, Olivia, Mackenzie, and Mackenzie’s husband, James Purcell; her son, Scott, and his wife, Randi, and his children, Taylor, Cooper, and Cooper’s fiancée, Mariana Carvalho, and their mother, Donna; her sisters, Pam Mount and Jan Perih and her husband, Steve; and many loving friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, May 7th, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 8th, at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 94 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701.
