David “Dave” Manley passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026.
He is pre-deceased by his parents, Jack Manley and Margaret Ely Manley. Dave was raised in Summit, NJ. Dave proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he built a successful career with Prudential Insurance where he worked for twenty-five years.
Dave will be remembered for his love of reading, racecars and tennis. He touched many people with his kindness, stories, and generous spirit.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Fash Manley; his daughters, Kelly Schultz and Pamela Schultz Walker; his son-in-law, Derek Walker; and his cherished grandchildren, Wesley and Camilla Walker. Dave will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 22nd from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St.,Red Bank, NJ 07701. A service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown, NJ.
