Eilish Josephine Reilly (née Noone), 68, of Rumson, New Jersey, passed away on September 23, 2026.
Born in Shankill, Dublin, Ireland, to Tom and Kay Noone, Eilish grew up at Eaton Brae with her six brothers and three sisters.
Eilish devoted more than four decades to nursing and midwifery, guided by her passion for caring for others. She trained at Sir Patrick Dun's Hospital in Dublin and studied midwifery at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. Her career took her to hospitals in Ireland, Scotland, and the United States, including Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey, where she served as Assistant Clinical Director of Labor and Delivery and later as Assistant Clinical Director of Postpartum until her retirement in 2023.
Eilish met her husband, Tim, while he was on vacation in Ireland. They married in 1997 and together raised their two sons, Timmy and Liam. The family lived in Rumson before moving to Davidson, North Carolina, in 2003, and returned to Rumson in 2012.
She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, strength, dedication to caring for others, and sense of humor. She loved music and was a talented musician, playing piano, guitar, violin, accordion, and flute. She was happiest in the company of family and friends, sharing laughter and "having the craic."
Eilish was predeceased by her parents, Tom and Kay Noone. She is survived by her beloved husband, Tim; her sons, Timmy and Liam; and her siblings and their partners: Mary, Katherine, John (Doris), Tommy (Mary), Pat (Mary Lou), Peter, Imelda (Gerard), Paul (Saoirse), and Philip (Fiona).
She is also lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends in Ireland and the United States.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad Street, Red Bank, New Jersey. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, 30 Ward Avenue, Rumson, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eilish's memory to the American Cancer Society,
