Mary Ribley, 96, of West Orange, NJ, formerly of Montclair, passed away on Nov .19, 2017, at Brighton Gardens of West Orange. Mary was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a long time Shrewsbury resident prior to moving to Montclair in 2013. Mary was a communicant of St Leo The Great Roman Catholic Church in Lincroft for 15 yrs and prior to that was a 40 year communicant of St Dorothea’s Roman Catholic Church in Eatontown where she served on the Rosary Alter Society.
Mary was predeceased by her son Patrick Joseph Ribley in 1988 and her husband of 64 years , Roy V. Ribley in 2007. She is survived by her daughters , Virginia Conk of Bradenton FL , Marianne Ribley of Montclair, her son Michael J. Ribley of Denver, Co and two grandchildren, Carey Ribley Howard and Michael B. Ribley. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St Red Bank. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10am at St Dorothea’s Roman Catholic Church, 240 Broad St, Eatontown. Interment to follow in Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. A memorial service will be planned for her at a later date in West Orange. Donations may be made in her memory to the Rocky Mountain M.S. Center 1635 Aurora Ct, Aurora, CO 80045.
