Obituaries

Ole Pedersen, 76 of Fair Haven, passed away on March 12, 2016. Ole was born to Knud and Inger Pedersen in Copenhagen, Denmark. After immigrating to the U.S. in 1960, Ole served in the US Army from 1963 to 1965. He was a Sales Manager for Pan American Airlines and DHL before retiring in 2005. A long-time resident of Fair Haven, Ole was a member of the Shrewsbury Sailing & Yacht Club in Oceanport and the Polly's Pond Sailing Group. He was also a member of the Root Beer and Checker Club of Fair Haven.

Ole was predeceased by his parents, a sister and brother. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Anni W. Pedersen; his sons Christopher Pedersen and his wife Ann of Lexington, KY and Søren Pedersen and his wife Meghan of Shrewsbury; his sister Kirsten Hansen of Denmark; and his four grandchildren Isabel, Andrew, Emma and Jack.

There will be a memorial gathering on Friday, March 18th from 4 to 7 p.m., with a service at 7 p.m., at the Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank.
