McGowan, Therese Marie on May 7th in her 92nd year. Born in Park Slope, Brooklyn but raised her family in Hicksville, NY.
Predeceased by her dearly loved husband Harold “Mac” McGowan; her much beloved daughter Virginia and her much beloved son Tommy. Mother to her cherished daughters; JoanMarie, Theresa, Mary, Eileen and loved Godson Michael Kennedy. Also, Beloved “Mom” to Karen, Geoff, Michael and Joe. Adored by her ten grandchildren; Jacki, Nicole, Danny, Amanda, Michael, Anthony, Alexandria, Megan, Erin and Michelle. Also beloved to her 8 GREAT-Grandchildren!
Visitation will be Thursday, May 10th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 11th at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, 121 Bridge Avenue, Red Bank, NJ. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation in her name to Meals-on-Wheels.
