Lara Danielle Scarantino, age 50 of Lincroft, NJ passed away on July 7th, 2018. Lara was born to Gabriel and MaryAnn Troiano in 1968 and resided in Lincroft, NJ.
Lara is a graduate of St Joseph by the Sea High School in SI, NY and FIT in NY, NY where she earned a bachelor’s degree in fashion and design. She had a career in garment sales in the fashion industry until she decided to become a full time mother. Lara is survived by 2 beautiful daughters Hailey & Ava along with her husband Bobby. She is also survived by her mother MaryAnn and three siblings Gary, Marissa, Corinne and her stepmother Karen.
Lara enjoyed many things and excelled at most. Running was her passion including completion of the NYC marathon and many people will remember Lara for her unique style of running throughout Lincroft. She lived life to its fullest and never gave less than 100 percent at anything. In addition to her love for God as a devout Catholic, Lara loved travelling, country music, tennis and the beach. Lara adored her 3 dogs Memphis, Maeve and Maui, but most of all, Lara loved her 2 daughters and spent most of her time with them.
There will be a visitation for family and friends on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:15 am at St Leo the Great, 50 Hurley’s Lane, Lincroft, NJ 07738. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to www.TreatmentAdvocacyCenter.org.
