Judith A. Thompson (nee Frink) left us on 2/9/19. She was born in Troy, NY and resided in Toms River, NJ for the past 10 years. Judy was a proud RBC ‘58 graduate, active in alumni activities and reunions. Judy and her husband Ray raised their 4 children in River Plaza and resided there for 43 years. Together, they owned and operated Mostly Monograms in Fair Haven and River Plaza for 20 years. Judy was also employed by the Borough of Red Bank as the Secretary to the Health Officer for 14 years, retired in 2004. She then worked at Rite Aid in Toms River for 8 years. Judy was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, sewing, traveling, playing Mahjongg and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Judy was predeceased by her parents Arthur M. and Agnes (Delisle) Frink; her husband of 52 years Raymond J in 2012 and her brother Tom Frink.
Judy was a caring mother especially devoted to her family. She is survived by her children Lisa Weaver, Chris Thompson and his wife Cathy (who was more like a daughter to Judy), Sue Thompson, Steven Thompson and his wife, Erin and her precious cat, Albe. She is also survived by her adored grandchildren Emily, Matthew, Preston and Tommy; her sister Helen DeVito and her husband Mario; and her sister-in-laws Bobbie Frink and Alice Duffy.
Visitation will be Thurs, 2/14/19 from 7 to 9 pm at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, 2/15/19 at 10 am at St James RC Church, 94 Broad St, Red Bank NJ.
