Visitation will be on Friday, May 14th from 5 to 8 pm at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 15th at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Nativity, 180 Ridge Ave, Fair Haven.  Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Middletown. In keeping with the current state mandates regarding COVID-19, face coverings must be worn by all visitors before entering the funeral home and visitors are also asked to observe social distancing.   Visitors are asked to greet the family and then exit the funeral home so that others may also visit due to the limited, allowable capacity.

 

Visitation will be from 2 pm to 4 pm on Tuesday, January 5th, at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ.  A graveside service will be conducted at 10 am on Wednesday, January 6th, at Lake Nelson Memorial Park, Piscataway, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Isabel’s memory to Shrewsbury Historical Society, P.O. Box 333, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702.

 

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 30th from 4-7 p.m. at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank, NJ 07701. There will be a short prayer service at 6:45 p.m. Maggie and Sam certainly understand many of you will not be able to be with us at this time. We do, however, look forward to the future when we can visit and celebrate Charlie's life with each of you. In keeping with the current state mandates regarding COVID-19, face coverings must be worn by all visitors and Guests will be directed to briefly greet the family and exit the building as soon as possible thereafter as only 25 persons are allowed in the funeral home at a time. In keeping with his wishes, Charlie will be cremated. 

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA), 533 W. Uwchlan Ave, Downington, PA 19335.

 

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 29th from 4-7 p.m. at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank, NJ 07701. In keeping with the current state mandates regarding COVID-19, face coverings must be worn by all visitors and will not be provided by the funeral home. Guests will be directed to briefly greet the family and exit the building as soon as possible thereafter as only 25 persons are allowed in the funeral home at a time. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 30th at 10 a.m. at St. James Roman Catholic Church of Red Bank, NJ. Burial will be private.

 

 

There will be a private family service. 

 

 

 

 

A celebration of her life will be scheduled when friends and family may safely attend. Donations in her memory can be made to Rosemont College, 1400 Montgomery Ave, Rosemont, PA 19010, or Regis High School, 55 E. 84th St, New York, NY, 10028, or Saturday Soup Kitchen, 503 Asbury Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ, 07712. Thompson Memorial Home of Red Bank, NJ has been entrusted with the arrangements.

 

 

 

There will be no visitation or services at the request of Mrs. MacConnell.

In lieu of flowers, any donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

 

Visitation will be held at the Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank, on Tuesday, December 22 from 4 to 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church, 395 Delano Place, Fairview, NJ. Due to Covid a “Celebration of Hal’s Life” to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Lunch Break/Food Bank Red Bank www.lunchbreak.org.

 

Mel loved being around people, but due to the current pandemic and his family’s concern for everyone’s health and safety, the viewing and funeral mass will be private. A celebration of Mel’s full and well-lived life will be held on a later date.
