A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 19th, beginning promptly at 9:45 am, at Holy Cross Church, 30 Ward Ave, Rumson  NJ  07760.  Parking in Church lot for Mass & Reception.   "Remembrance" read from altar 10-:10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. (walk next door to tennis club)

Donations in his name are suggested to the Sisters of Mercy of NJ, Red Bank Catholic H.S. and the SLTCC Landmark Preservation Friends. For those who wish to attend the reception virtually, a link will be available as soon as possible. Thompson Memorial Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

 

 

 

 

A graveside service will be held outside at Woodbine Cemetery & Mausoleum in Oceanport, NJ on June 5th at 10:30am. She will be lovingly laid to rest next to her husband Daniel Acker. Thompson Memorial Home of Red Bank, NJ has been entrusted with the arrangements.

 

 

 

 

Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home in Red Bank on Sunday April 11, 2021, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.  Face coverings must be worn by all visitors before entering the funeral home and visitors are also asked to observe social distancing.  Visitors are asked to greet the family and then exit the funeral home so that others may also visit due to the limited, allowable capacity.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday April 12, 2021, at St. James RC Church in Red Bank at 10:00 a.m.

 

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 7th at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. In keeping with the current state mandates regarding COVID-19, face coverings must be worn by all visitors before entering the funeral home and visitors are also asked to observe social distancing.  Visitors are asked to greet the family and then exit the funeral home so that others may also visit due to the limited, allowable capacity.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 8th at 10:30 am at St. Michael’s Church, West End, NJ.

Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in West Long Branch.

Donations in lieu of flowers to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be very much appreciated.

 

 

A private family service will be held followed by internment at the Hamilton Cemetery in Neptune. The family intends to hold a celebration of life when it is safe for family and friends to gather together.

Starting on Memorial Day, Dr. Blades’ beloved garden plot at the Fair Haven Community Garden will be maintained in his honor, marked by a mint and cream colored bird house to mark its location. Friends are invited to stop by and leave a note in his memory.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent or delivered to the Fair Haven Public Library, 748 River Road, Fair Haven, NJ 07704 for continuation of their community library initiatives.

 

 

Visitation will be Friday April 2, 2021 from 6 to 9 pm at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad Street, Red Bank, NJ. 

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in Cally's name to Asbury Park Music Foundation (asburyparkmusiclives.org) or Habitat for Humanity (www.habitat.org).  In keeping with the current state mandates regarding COVID-19, face coverings must be worn by all visitors before entering the funeral home and visitors are also asked to observe social distancing.  Visitors are asked to greet the family and then exit the funeral home so that others may also visit due to the limited, allowable capacity.

 

 

Visitation will be Friday, April 9, 2021, from 5 to 7 pm at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 10th at 10 am at St. James RC Church, 94 Broad St, Red Bank. 

Entombment will follow Holmdel Cemetery & Mausoleum, Holmdel.

 

 

 

A private service will be held at Thompson Memorial Home with interment in the family plot at Fair View Cemetery.

 

The family will have a private family service at the Thompson Memorial Home in Red Bank, NJ.

A celebratory memorial band concert will be held in the summer to honor her life. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Asbury Park Music Foundation to support live music. Send to 375 Park Ave Freehold, NJ 07728. 

 

The family intends to plan a celebration of his life when people may gather together safely. Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank is in charge of arrangements. Donations may be made to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (https://give.themmrf.org/fundraiser/3176178).

 

 

 

 

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 22nd from 4 to 7 pm at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ, and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St James RC Church, 94 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ, on Tuesday, March 23rd at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation to honor friends from her hometown of Tottenville on Staten Island. In keeping with the current state mandates regarding COVID-19, face coverings must be worn by all visitors before entering the funeral home and visitors are also asked to observe social distancing.  Visitors are asked to greet the family and then exit the funeral home so that others may also visit due to the limited, allowable capacity.
