Jane Corbin, 77 of Wayside, entered God’s presence on March 15, 2009 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer at St. Barnabas Hospice Center of Monmouth Medical, Long Branch .
Born in Port Jervis, NY she resided on Long Island NY and North Plainfield , NJ before moving to Ocean Township in 1977. She was a Medical Technologist and was the Blood Bank Supervisor for St Francis Hospital, in Roslyn , NY . Later on, she also worked as a billing and collection specialist for Dr. Grossman’s office in Tinton Falls and for Omni Health Care before retiring in 1996. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church (Tower Hill), Red Bank. She was past co-president of the Tower Hill Choir, a Deacon, member of the Elizabeth Circle , and active on the Grief Care Ministry Team. She volunteered her time for the SPCA, St James Convent, and for the Boy Scouts of America as a merit badge counselor. Her sense of humor, smile and giving of herself to others were her greatest gifts.
