Lorraine Jean Eovino, 85 years old of Middletown,NJ, passed peacefully on Jan 7, 2020 at her place of residency in Middletown, NJ.   She is predeceased by her parents Raymond  and Josephine Strona; sister Lucille; brothers Ray Jr,Joseph and Richard Strona; her beloved 2nd husband Whitey Eovino and also her beloved daughter Gail Laura. She is survived by her brother Robert Strona of Birmingham,AL; her sons Ronald Laura of Toms River, NJ, Gary Laura of Middletown,NJ and Mark Laura of Middletown,NJ; her grandson Jason Joslin who was raised as her son and 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. 

Toni Huber let go of this particular world on December 27 after fully inhabiting it for 86 years, 2 months, and 6 days. He had stuff to do that he couldn't do here, so he had to go. First on his list was building a wooden boat.

This was no ordinary man. Toni had an easy, original, and irresistible charm. His rumbly, baritone voice could carry across a football field. He was extremely funny and didn't know how to tell a dull story. He swore constantly and effortlessly, outdoing any drunken sailor on the planet. It was hard not to love him.

Toni was born in Manhattan and attended preschool in the city at The Little Red School House. He did receive further education (Rumson Country Day School, Millbrook, Amherst College) but he would be the first to tell you that his academic performance pretty much went downhill after The Little Red School House.  But that didn't mean he wasn't brilliant.

Joan Natalie Lyons Weber, our Nana, passed on peacefully in her home, surrounded by her beloved family on January 4, 2020.

She is predeceased by her parents, Loren Lamont Farrar and Johanna Davis, her first husband Joseph Lyons, her brothers Loren Farrar, Eugene Wilson and sister Francis Wilson. She is predeceased also by her second husband and love of her life Arno H Weber, with whom she shared 20 years of happiness. She is survived by her daughter Patricia J Townsend (nee Lyons) of Shrewsbury and her grand-daughters Olivia and Amelia Townsend, also her son Joseph F Lyons of Naples, Florida, and Loren Lyons, her stepsons Arno Weber(Florence) of Brick, New Jersey, Kurt Weber of Long Branch, New Jersey, and Richard Weber of Rumson, New Jersey.

Marion Schuster, 97, of Shadow Lake Village, peacefully passed away on Jan. 3^rd surrounded by family at Riverview Medical Center. Born in Union City to Charles and Anna (Abate) Pensa, Marion married John Schuster in 1944 and was married for over 50 years.

During her life she raised two sons, was an administrative assistant at Fort Monmouth, and an active member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and world travel. She was no stranger to ice cream sundaes and other delectable desserts. Marion is survived by her two sons, Jay and Doug, and extended family.

Frances (Fay) B. Thiesing, of Tinton Falls, passed away on January 2, 2020. Frances was born in Long Branch and raised in Red Bank. She graduated from Red Bank High School in 1942, attended Civilian Training School and became a Mechanical Draftsman.  Frances worked at AT&T in New York for four years and retired from the Electronics Command at Ft. Monmouth after 26 years of service.

Frances was a past matron of the Molly Pitcher Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and a Grand Officer.

Dr. Frank A. Bonifacio of Rumson New Jersey passed away peacefully at home on Saturday December 21, 2019. Frank was born in Brooklyn New York and grew up in Keyport New Jersey. He will forever be remembered for his brilliant mind, passion for medicine and for the love of his life, Marion. Frank graduated from Widner University in 1956 with a degree in chemistry.

Dorothy (Sofield) White passed away on December 16th at the Brandywine in Shrewsbury at the age of 88.

Born in Avon to Elsie and Ted Sofield, Dorothy received her RN from Flower-Fifth Avenue School of Nursing and later worked at Monmouth Medical Hospital where she met the love of her life, Bill.

Paul O. Whitfield of Rumson, NJ passed away peacefully at his home with his wife of 71+ years at his side on December 10, 2019.  He was 95 years old.  He is survived by his wife Louise, daughter Sarah, sons and daughters-in-law Ron and Cindi and Jim and Robin, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his parents, George and Golden Whitfield, brother and sister-in-law G. Lester and Carolyn Whitfield, and daughter Catherine.

Paul was proud to have served aboard the USS Picking, DD685 in the US Navy during World War II, and was a plank owner of the ship. He enjoyed attending ship reunions throughout the years, most recently in October 2019.  He was a life member of the Tin Can Sailors, National Association of Destroyer Veterans, and a life member of the Tin Can Sailors Association of NJ, NJDESRON 2, Phoenix Squadron.  He was also a member of the American Legion.

Audrey (Robinson) Semple, Age 84, of Shrewsbury, NJ, died Thursday, December 12. Audrey was born on October 20, 1935 in Bridgeton, NJ to the late William and Pauline Robinson. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 62 years, Barry Semple, and sister to the late Joan Seabrook (Robinson) and William Robinson. Audrey was the matriarch of her family. A graduate of Bridgeton High School, Audrey married Barry, her sixth grade sweetheart, in 1957. 

Audrey was deeply loved by her family and her community. While raising a family she served as the Deputy Borough Clerk and as the Borough Clerk for Shrewsbury for 17 years. She was very involved with the Presbyterian Church in Shrewsbury, where she was a deacon for many years. Her passions were playing tennis, cooking, gardening, cheering for the Yankees and teaching those around her to appreciate the natural beauty of every plant and flower. Her joy was her children, John, Elizabeth, Bruce and Katherine and their children Margaret, Jane, Andrew, Anne, Matthew, Eva, Leo, Hannah and Eleanor. 

Robert M. Kelly, 74, passed away on December 8, 2019.  Robert was born in New York City and raised in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan and spent most of his adult life in Monmouth County, New Jersey. 

Always curious and a life-long student, Robert began his education at Regis High School, a Jesuit institution in the city.  He received his BS from Manhattan College, and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He was a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

In January 1970 he married Annemarie Kelly and their daughter Kristen Anne was born the next year.
