Norman Daniels Weber, beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home in Lincroft on May 26th, 2023, he was 93 years old. He lived a long, fulfilling life, leaving behind many cherished memories and a legacy of love and service.
Norman was born on July 8th, 1929 in Jamaica, Queens, NY where he grew up with his sister Virginia “Ginny”. His mother Eva (nee Daniels) was a real estate broker and a teacher and his father, Jacob, was a social worker. As a youngster, Norman attended the Hollis Ave Congregational Church, where he met the love of his life, Carol. After graduating from high school, Norman pursued a career in engineering, eventually graduating from Brooklyn Polytechnic before landing a job at Bell Labs and eventually at AT&T and Bellcore, where he would work in engineering and marketing for over 45 years. He also later received his Masters of Engineering from NYU and got his Professional Engineering license. Norm and Carol eventually settled in Lincroft, NJ where they raised their family together and were happily married for nearly 50 years before she passed away in 2000.
